Marshfield Medical Center-Beaver Dam's Eye Clinics (formerly Vita Park Eye Associates) has been a part of the community for more than 70 years. Thayer Davis M.D. opened up his clinic in 1949, Alan Ehrhardt, M.D. became his partner in 1968 and George Davis later joined the practice in 1980. Thomas Castillo D.O. joined the practice in 1998 when Dr. Ehrhardt retired.
In 2004 Jay Wilkins, M.D. joined the group. The Beaver Dam Eye Clinics' new office opened on April 3, 2006, in the Vita Park Medical Clinics building on the first floor. Charles Hendrix, O.D. merged his private practice with Vita Park Eye Associates in June 2008.
Dr. George Davis retired in July 2008 after 28 years of practice. On July 1, 2010, Cory Springstroh, O.D. joined the practice, he specializes in Pediatric Optometry and sees patients in both the Beaver Dam and Waupun clinics.
Waupun Eye Clinic moved from its location at 10 Beaver Dam Street and opened up is a brand new state of the art facility located at 140 Gateway Drive on Dec. 30, 2010.
On May 1, 2022, Vita Park Eye Associates joined Marshfield Clinic Health System, with its two locations renamed:
