PHYSICAL THERAPY

Physical Therapists are healthcare professionals that strive to provide you with the most evidence-based care, offering cost-effective treatment to avoid costly surgeries, imaging, and prescription medications.

Physical Therapists routinely work collaboratively with their patients. Treatment plans can be designed for the patient’s individual goals, challenges, and needs. Receiving treatment by a physical therapist is rarely a passive activity, and participating in your own recovery can be empowering. In many cases, patients develop an ongoing relationship with their physical therapist to maintain optimum health and movement abilities across their lifespan.

Direct Access

Rehabilitation Services provides physical therapy services via Direct Access, a legal provision in Wisconsin, allowing patients to be seen by a Physical Therapist without the need for a referral or prescription from a physician.

Direct Access provides immediate access to a Physical Therapist and an appointment can be made by calling our office directly.

Insurance Coverage of Direct Access is specific to your insurance plan and policy.  Please call and verify your insurance coverage prior to scheduling an appointment.

Our Physical Therapists will continue to communicate with your primary care physician.  Physical Therapy records are entered into patients’ medical records.  In addition, reports are sent to patients’ designated physicians.  Patients will be referred to a physician if the Physical Therapist determines that the patient’s condition requires a physician’s evaluation.
