Admission Requirements

We accept children in order of availability, with priority given to children of BDCH employees and to families who request full-time enrollment.

Minimum attendance for children is two days per week for at least five hours each day. Kids Care will not discriminate on the basis of race, color, sex or special needs.

State and federal regulations require a complete physical examination and an up-to-date immunization record for admission to the center. We encourage parents to bring their children with them to tour the center prior to admission.

Accreditations

Kids Care is licensed by the State of Wisconsin. To maintain this license, we must undergo several licensing visits each year to assure compliance with all regulations of the Wisconsin Department of Children and Families Division of Early Care and Education.

Parental Involvement is Critical to Success

Parent/teacher conferences are scheduled twice a year, in the spring and the fall, and your involvement is crucial to your child’s success. We encourage you to speak with teachers and the Kids Care Director at any time regarding questions, concerns and suggestions. We even offer several planned activities to give you the chance to be actively involved.

Activities include field trip chaperones, classroom readers, on-site events to bring families together, and attending our Annual Spring Fling.
