Beaver Dam Community Hospital (BDCH) is offering an educational class for those with prediabetes on Tuesday, Oct. 10 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Lamoreau/McClure Room on the first floor of the hospital.
Approximately 86 million adults aged 20 and older have prediabetes, and outpatient education counseling can help lower their risk of developing diabetes.
In this one hour session, a BDCH Diabetes Educator will review basic information about prediabetes as well as practical tips to healthy eating, weight control and exercise. To register or receive more information, call (920) 887-6609.
