Dr. Rupinder Singh treats patients who have spine-related and joint pain. He is board-certified in both internal medicine and pain management.

He entered the field of medicine because it offered a chance to do incredibly important work.

“This is a wonderful, noble profession that gives you a chance to help people,” Dr. Singh said. “My work gives me a
chance to decrease human suffering.”

Dr. Singh said pain management is an evolving field with many new treatment options available.

“Pain can be managed effectively now,” he said. “These days, one does not have to suffer.”

Dr. Singh said he believes in providing care in a kind and compassionate manner.

“I serve my patients and work to improve their quality of life,” he said. “It’s a team approach. I like to work with my patients to find solutions to their pain.”

Dr. Singh earned his medical degree at Government Medical College & Hospital in Punjab, India. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Prince George’s Hospital Center in Maryland and his fellowship in interventional pain management at University of Rochester Medical Center in New York. He enjoys meeting new people, playing basketball and traveling. Dr. Singh is married with three children.
