Our advanced physician assistants work collaboratively with our orthopedic surgeons and perform physical examinations, diagnose and treat injury and illness, assist in surgery, perform casting and splinting, provide joint injections, provide follow-up care with post-operative patients, order and interpret lab and radiographic studies, prescribe medication and physical therapy, and provide patient education.
We are proud to provide advanced athletic training services to many of our area high schools. Our experienced licensed athletic trainers are also certified in ImPACT Testing, a computer-based concussion management took which allows medical professionals to set baselines for neurocognitive function and properly clear athletes when they are ready to return to action following a concussion.
