MMC-BD Adds Virtual Visitation Options
With visitor restrictions in place due to COVID-19, MMC-BD is now offering virtual visitation options that allow patients and residents to connect with their loved ones.
Friends and family can either utilize their personal devices or use the virtual visitation room in the hospital’s main lobby. Those wishing to use the MMC-BD virtual visitation room can set up a time with their loved one by calling 920-887-6617. To use a personal device, family and friends should call 920-887-7181 and ask for the nurse's station. Information about the availability of virtual visits will also be posted in each patient room.
“We understand the emotion and anxiety that can accompany a stay in the hospital,” said Angelia Foster, MMC-BD Chief Administrative Officer. “Connecting with friends and family is a valuable means of emotional support and we hope virtual visitation is the next best thing to having everyone in the same room together.”
