Kim Miller Appointed Chair of Vizient's Upper Midwest Board of Directors

Kim Miller, MBA, president of CEO of Beaver Dam Community Hospitals, Inc., has been appointed chairperson of the Vizient Upper Midwest Board of Directors.
 
Vizient, Inc., the largest member-driven health care performance improvement company in the country, provides innovative data-driven solutions, expertise and collaborative opportunities that lead to improved patient outcomes and lower costs. The Vizient Upper Midwest Board consists of 19 members from 10 states: Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota, Michigan, Montana, Colorado, North Dakota, South Dakota, Pennsylvania and Florida. The board strives to improve the 35 health care organizations in the Upper Midwest Network more quickly through a commitment to act, learn and share together.

•        Leapfrog Group Top Rural Hospital, 2016, 2015, 2014. BDCH is the first and only Wisconsin hospital to earn this honor.
•        BDCH Hillside Home Care recently earned a 5-star rating for patient satisfaction, the highest of any agency serving the region. It also received a 4-star rating for quality. Ratings are determined by Home Care Compare using Medicare’s publicly reported quality metrics.
