Living Alone with Peace of Mind

Lifeline is an emergency response program offered through Hillside Home Care. The program makes it possible for elderly or disabled individuals to live alone and have the security of knowing that help is only a phone call, or push of a button, away.

Lifeline is a personal home monitoring system that provides prompt assistance 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, reassuring family members that their loved one will have access to medical attention if they are unable to summon help themselves. The home monitoring system has the ability to talk to the individual to ask if they need help.

Individuals who subscribe to this service will receive a personalized response button that sends a signal for help. There are two options; a button that the individual must push to send the signal; or a button that will automatically signal for help if a patient falls.

When the signal for help is sent, Lifeline will talk to the individual through the monitoring system to see if they need help. If help is needed, they will contact the responders chosen by the individual to check in. Within minutes, emergency help is on the way.
