Beaver Dam Community Hospital (BDCH) is offering educational classes for those with prediabetes on Thursday, Oct. 11 at 10 a.m. in the Lamoreau room on the first floor of the hospital.
In these one-hour sessions, a BDCH Diabetes Educator will review basic information about prediabetes as well as practical tips to healthy eating, weight control and exercise.
Approximately 86 million adults aged 20 and older have prediabetes, and outpatient education counseling can help lower their risk of developing diabetes. To register or receive more information, call 920-887-6631.
