BDCH is constantly improving its cancer services in order to prevent unnecessary travel for patients and families who are living with cancer.
Cancer treatments can be exhausting, and we want to free up as much energy as possible for patients to fight the disease, rather than dealing with traffic and travel into the city. - Advanced Breast Health Center with digital mammography and the Mammotome® for minimally invasive breast cancer diagnosis

- Cancer clinic with hematology and UW Madison oncology specialists in Beaver Dam 3 or more days each week

Support Systems Provide Compassionate Care
Navigator Program - This program is available through the American Cancer Society and offers free, confidential assistance to cancer patients and those who care for them. The navigator also coordinates the at-home program, arranging the availability of medical equipment for those individuals uninsured or underinsured.
Cancer Support Group - Free informal groups are open to cancer patients and their families. They are held in Beaver Dam and are facilitated by members of the community.
Educational Resources - The oncology department at BDCH offers a wide variety of educational materials on most disease types and treatments.
Nutritional Services - Registered dieticians are available to patients with questions about nutrition.
