Lifeline is an emergency response program offered through Hillside Home Care. The program makes it possible for elderly or disabled individuals to live alone and have the security of knowing that help is only a phone call, or push of a button, away.
Lifeline is a personal home monitoring system that provides prompt assistance 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, reasuring family members that their loved one will have access to medical attention if they are unable to summon help themselves.
Subscribers have a personalized response button to push in case of an emergency. This signal for help triggers a call to Beaver Dam Community Hospital through special telephone equipment. When hospital staff members receive the call, they take immediate action and call the subscriber. If there is no answer, personal responders are contacted to go to the subscriber’s home and check on the situation. And within minutes, emergency help is on the way.
